I have finally got the new office chair for the observatory, and suprisingly, it is as comfortable as the description said it would be. Not sure about the vibrating massage feature, unless it is set to low it rattles your kidneys about something awful, nonetheless its nice on low.
I put it to good use too. A clear night with no moon presented itself, so I captured the SII data for the North American and Pelican nebulae and also for the Heart nebula, and apart from the cat keeping me company and occasionally digging his claws into my leg – I did have forty winks in the new chair quite easily, this was to be processed with the Ha and OIII data previously gathered. This was on the 19th September, however looking for and finally purchasing a camper van for weekends away got in the way of processing the data until now, better late than never.
I’m not sure why the Heart nebula is so named, it looks like something completely different to me.
