January 31st 2018. Blue, super and for some a blood moon; so when I finished work I raced home ( observing all the speed limits obviously ) grabbed my camera and got out on the moors by cowbridge, over the river Brue near Glastonbury and waited for the super moon to rise. It was bl**dy cold and the wind didn’t help, the eastern horizon was clear except for where the moon was going to rise a solitary cloud stubbornly refused to go away but luck was on my side as there was a small gap in the cloud large enough for the moon to show through. I took my shot and got in the car and drove home because I was absolutely freezing. I must be mad.
