I was pleased and privileged to find out that today that one of my images has been chosen as the WORLD AAPOD ASTER ACADEMY ASTRONOMY, Amateur Astronomy Picture of the Day for January 21st 2018, NGC2264 The Christmas Tree nebula.

Some of the images that are submited for approval are of fantastic quality from better observing sites than my backyard here in somerset. All I can say is, Wow I didn’t expect that.
