As forecast, the sky was clear last night. So from 7pm till 4.30am I managed to grab enough data to produce three good images. M33 The Triangulum Galaxy in the constellation of Triangulum, NGC281 The Pacman Nebula in the constellation of Cassiopeia and NGC1977 The Running Man Nebula in the constellation of Orion. These images are now on the website. There was some high altitude haze, but that cleared away eventually. The only niggle of the evening was a neighbours security light, the thing was on all night. Obviously got money to burn, literally. Why people can’t face them downwards instead of shining across everyones property is beyond me. They should look at the Commission for Dark Skies website.
